The KTMK Rookie Series was created for young baseball and softball players who are ready for their first quality leather glove.
Designed primarily for players ages 7–11, the Rookie Series helps new and developing players build confidence, improve fundamentals, and simply enjoy the game with a glove that's designed specifically for young hands.
Unlike many youth gloves made with synthetic materials or lower-grade leather, every Rookie Series glove is built from premium tumbled leather using single-welt construction. The result is a glove that's lightweight, durable, comfortable, and easier for young players to open and close while still providing the structure needed to develop a true player's pocket.
The Rookie Series still requires some break-in, allowing each player to naturally shape the pocket to their hand and playing style without being overwhelmed by an overly stiff glove.
